Something amusing
I just noticed on my Garden State poster that there are three ratings. The one to the far right just says "G, Visa General," which kinda sounds like the rating for, say, Fantasia. The next one said "14A Canadian Home Video Rating: Sexually Suggestive Themes/Coarse Language," which basically means in Canada you could see this movie uncut after 11 on the Cartoon Network, eh. Finally there was a large and boxed in "R (with that weird ovular looking design next to it) FOR LANGUAGE, DRUG USE, AND A SCENE OF SEXUALITY." Ruh? How old as a country do we have to be before we stop caring about hearing the word fuck in a movie? I feel sometimes we've broken through ten to get to maybe a twelve or even thirteen year old mind-set. What do you think?
